It's that time of the year again! It's time for another summary!
This marks the 8th summary on this blog.
In tradition, I (and the rest of the Rayque3 Staff) wish you a great 2019. This year has been an interesting one...
It started out to be like the majority of 2015 to 2017; a lot of things in my personal life hasn't been all that great. Fortunately, my life has been improving throughout the second half of 2018, to a point where 2018 had some actual game changers that made it worth my while. Especially one particular event that managed to give me some much needed confirmation in where I currently am in life, and where things will go from that point forward. Hopefully this (positive) momentum will stay as long as it can. Next year seems to have a solid chance of being good, for a change.
Anyway, that said - let's get to those statistics of 2018.
The Youtube Department (Rayque3 Staff)
General
- Our tenth anniversary!
- Reached 12.000.000 total upload views!
- Reached 11.000 subscribers!
- If we exclude the videos published this year on my blog for specific blogposts, we have only published two videos this year. While that sounds like an all-time low that even sets the bar lower than last year did (which only had three videos published), the two videos that have been uploaded are important to us. The WarioWare: Smooth Moves - All Microgames video has been in an on/off development since 2009 (!) and LEGO® MARVEL Super Heroes - Main Story has been a video I've personally been looking forward to make since the game came out.
While there hasn't been much activity on our channel as of the past two years, that doesn't mean that we're done or that there isn't anything planned. This isn't the first time that such a hiatus has occurred in our channel's lifespan, and this might also not be the last hiatus either. Youtube's just a passionate hobby of us, but that also means it isn't a full time job or anything close to that. Just don't forget that more videos are always on its way - plenty of Walkthroughs, Single-Part-Videos, Smesh Bros and even High-Dex-Hero videos are still on our to do list!
The following numbers are approximated to improve readability.

Did you know...
- That this is the first time where Mario Party 7 - All Mini-Games isn't the most viewed of the year? Yes, that's right: since its release in 2013, it has always been the most viewed video of the year - until 2018, that is. This year, Kirby's Return to Dreamland - All Mini/Main/EX Bosses takes the throne!
- Despite the drop in views, certain videos performed better than last year? The 100% Subspace Emissary video gained 140.000 views, while that was only 80.000 in 2017. All Masters Battles gained 3000 more views this year, Kirby 64 almost doubled and almost all views of LEGO® CITY Undercover - Main Story (which is a video from 2016) was gained this year.
- That the top three most viewed countries for this year are almost identical to 2017 in terms of %? The United States contributed to 32% of the views last year (35% in 2018), Japan contributed 7,5% (7,6% in 2018) and the United Kingdom contributed 4,8% (5,3% in 2018).
- Despite we're Dutch, the Netherlands only contributes for 1% of our views this year?

Did you know...
- I'm extremely close to hitting Level 238? I've decided to hold back with those event 2x Coupons until next year because otherwise my blog would be cluttered with new posts three days in a row.
- I currently run 161%-STR? With all of the Legendary rank ups that happened this (and last) year, I've been slowly increasing that total. Re-rolling my Additional Options have also contributed to this higher score. Perhaps next year I might even get past 200%!
- I currently run 216 Star Force? I haven't invested that much into Star Force since the limit was increased to 25, because I'd rather focus on my Potential first.
- According to my Excel sheet, I've shuffled my Inner Ability 1443 times since I got it to Legendary? I still haven't made any progress on my Inner Ability yet. It's still stuck on that "1/3 done". These 1443 rolls were worth over eleven million Honor EXP!
- With the current progressing speed, I'm going to max out my Arcane Force next year? Aura Weapon is also very close to Level 25 - the Black event has been incredible so far with Nodestones and Symbol Selectors!

#5986 Adventurers - Amazon Ancient Ruins (1999)
#8538 Bionicle - Muaka & Kane-ra (2001)
#8549 Bionicle - Tarakava (2001)
#10134 STAR WARS - Y-wing Attack Starfighter (2004)
#75181 STAR WARS - Y-wing Starfighter (2018)
#75532 STAR WARS - Scout Trooper & Speeder Bike (2017)
#75533 STAR WARS - Boba Fett (2018)
#21314 IDEAS - TRON: Legacy (2018)
#10261 Creator Expert - Roller Coaster (2018)
Not many sets in particular, but definitely a few of them that I've been looking forward to for almost two decades. Unfortunately it seems like set #75539 has been axed, which was a particular set I was looking forward to since the rumors got out at the start of 2018. Darn, that would've been one of the best CCBS sets to date... so it ends up on my wishlist being impossible like Mokarr/Makarr. Wait a minute... WHY IS THERE A MOKARR PROTOTYPE IN THE WILD? How did I let this one go under my radar? I need to find one on the aftermarket... and so, Rayque's obsession for Mokarr continued.
Oh yeah... I actually forgot I have this album of images for the TRON: Legacy set under Black light since April. Wait what, why haven't I published these yet?

- I've played a lot of Xenoblade 2 - had to take a bit of a break because of Smash Bros Ultimate, but I'll get back to it once I have more time for it. I haven't had much time to check out everything on Xenoblade 2's DLC pass, and neither did I have time to even try out things such as the World of Light in Smash Ultimate. It's on my to do list!
- I've also managed to repair my old orange GameCube Controller, which I've used that much that it needed its parts to be replaced. With that toolkit I've got my hands on last year, I've been able to carefully replace the parts that needed replacement. Good as new!
- Still at it with Team Fortress 2 of course. Maybe a bit less than last year because there was so much other things to do online as well. Currently at Level 127, with 538 hours of Demoman, and 175 hours of Engineer. Hopefully I'll have more time to play TF2 again next year!
- Yes, I am still playing Borderlands 2 a few times a year. There's still way too much to do, honestly. And I even have yet to touch my copy of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel...
- On top of all of that, I've also started to pick up an old game that I had some unfinished business with... What game is that? I won't talk about it here on my blog. Not yet, that is.
Huh, 2018's been pretty damn excellent on the gaming department it seems.
As for next year, hopefully...
- Despite I haven't worked much on my MK projects, a lot of development has been on my mind. I haven't had time to order more parts on Bricklink, but with teal being back as a color and that I've found some much needed information regarding Mindstorms EV3, development on the Constructor's side looks promising. I've also made a bit of progress on my Hailfire. Hopefully I might finish both of them next year, but then again... I've been saying this for years now. We'll see I guess?
- Will we be back with more Youtube stuff than we have in the past two years?
- Will it be another successful year on the EMS department?
- Will there be more Mokarr? It's amusing to see how much more Galidor stuff has surfaced this year because of that "cult status" it has gained...
That's it for this summary! Took me about four hours (again) to write and prepare.
