It's a remote-controlled toy robot inspired by the things in life that interest me. The main play feature is to "eat minifigs" and it's intended to (eventually) have a versatile range of motorized joints to facilitate play. The ultimate Bionicle MOC.
Originally planned to be a bipedal crocodile, it adopted the nickname "croc" even though it's evolved beyond that point; now a mixture of various deep-sea creatures. Bionicle's 2007 theme, sets #8538 and #8485 and Bifrost the Crocoroid have all been major influences on choosing the play features. Its physique will resemble Kraid from the Metroid series.
This project came into existence out of necessity, after reaching too many dead ends on the Constructor project. It's intentionally a ridiculous project in order to cultivate the required skill and experience to proceed further on my LEGO portfolio. It's by far my most expensive and ambitious project yet, in the hopes of becoming a better LEGO designer.
