[2015] What happened this year to Rayque?

As the always recurring tradition on my blog, it's the 31st of December - that means it's time for another summary! This is the fifth annual summary on this blog, which also means I've been blogging for quite a while by now.

While it's relatively still early today - but at least "with a few hours left", I (and the rest of the Rayque3 Staff) wish you
a great 2016. 2015 has been a very interesting year for me - I dare to say it had one of the largest ups and downs in my life, with a lot of game changing events. This year has been a very important foundation for the next two years.

Did you know...
- This year 39% of our viewers are female? That's an increase by 1% compared to 2014. On our lifetime roughly 36% of our viewers are female.
- This has been the second year in our Channel's lifetime to have an increase in views, but a decrease in subscribers? The other year where this has occurred was in 2011. Only in 2012, we have seen a decrease in both in comparison to the previous year (2011).
- This has been a fantastic year for the Walkthroughs of Luxatus Patella? He has worked on three different Walkthroughs (a similarity only shared with 2013 so far), revisted the Tarzan Action Game and started on the original two Harry Potter games. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets holds the record for being the Longest Rayque3 Walkthrough to date, with a total of 9,5 hours!
The difference between the
exact same scenes during the
Xenoblade "Final Hour"
and Retroperspective videos.
- The Retroperspective of our Youtube channel (September 2014) has hinted three Single-Part-Videos that would've been released in the near future? Kirby's Return to Dreamland - All Mini/Main/EX Bosses was published two months later (November 2014), Pokémon Battle Revolution - All Masters Battles [HeartGold] was published seven months later (April 2015) and Xenoblade Chronicles - Main Story [New Game+] was intended to be released in the Summer of 2015. The Retroperspective only used direct footage from the first-to-come SPV (1:57), while for the other two, used custom footage that was specifically recorded just for the video (1:59 and 2:00, respectively). The custom footage for Xenoblade was actually recorded from the "preparation save-file" that has been used for the final video (see the image on the right). Ironically, the footage for Pokémon Battle Revolution was in Magma Colosseum, while the Masters Battles only take place in Stargazer Colosseum.
- This has been one of the three years on our Channel to not have included a Multirandomness since the initial release of this series? The other two years have been 2011 and 2013.
- About one third of our subscribers and more than a quarter of our views has been gained this year?
- Although 43 published videos may seem low, it is actually more than our previous year, which was 30?
- Despite we are Dutch, The Netherlands is just the 14th most viewed country for this year? Last year, this country was on the 13th spot on the rankings.

The MapleStory Europe Department

General
- Reached Level 210! Close to Level 211!
- Almost my fourth year anniversary of using my Ribgol Sword!
It'll be on the 4th of January 2016.
- My eighth consecutive year of playing MapleStory Europe on my Hero!

Obtaining
- Managed to obtain the special Skill Links for the Knights of Cygnus (Level 10/10) and the Resistance (Level 6/6)!
- Obtained two completed Sylph Rings!
- Obtained the Grand Adventure Ring!
- I'm close to obtaining the Dark Critical Adventure Ring!
- Managed to obtain the rare Amaterasu's Shoes, Gloves, Armor and Cape! In MapleStory Europe, these equips only come from Capsule Toy events - which only have appeared twice this year. Despite we have the raid boss Mori Ranmaru, the ingredients and recipes cannot be obtained. The hat has been released through the same event, but the Shoulder and Belt remain unreleased as of today.

Upgrading
- Reached Legendary Inner Ability!
- Reached my first intended Inner Ability line!
- Reached Level 100 Charm!
- Reached Level 100 Ambition!
- Reached Level 100 Willpower!
- Reached 100% Critical Rate with Enrage!
- Enhanced my Lionheart Battle Boots to 12 Stars!
- Enhanced my Lionheart Battle Gloves to 12 Star!

Bossing/Combat
- I'm currently Level 178 on my Pink Bean Class! The deadline for Level 200 is the upcoming 19th of January, and I'll do my best to reach it on time!
- Managed to defeat Chaos Zakum - on my own!
- Managed to defeat Pink Bean with only prior knowledge and no previous experience - on my own!

Did you know...
- I still have only 33%-STR? Despite that number staying the same, I'm actually moving forward into what I'm able to defeat. I'm able to defeat Pink Bean and Chaos Zakum entirely on my own, something I probably couldn't pull off last year.
- It took 1982 shuffles to reach Legendary Inner Ability? I've shuffled 57 times on Legendary - and I've spend a total of 819.200 Honor EXP! I'm still working on perfecting my three preferred Ability lines.
- I'm looking forward to the Reboot and Heroes of Maple updates. A lot will change for my character itself; not just the Skill Trees, but also my entire build. However, I might not be entirely happy about the ridiculous Shout and Combo Force improvements, but I have an idea where Nexon is trying to go with that...

- It'll be a great year for our Youtube channel.
- I'll be able to finish MK. 2 and MK. 3! It'll be about damn time!
- MK. 4 will be officially started. Keep in mind, I won't start on #4 unless both Hailfire and Constructor are finished.

- 2016 will be a promising year for my "EMS career"? It surely looks like it!
- WILL 5TH JOB BE RELEASED IN KOREA MAPLESTORY? To be serious though, next year *is* the 10th anniversary of 4th job.

Wow, this summary took the longest out of all to write. Almost five hours.
Luxatus Patella and I wish you a fantastic 2016. Be careful with fireworks!

That's it for 2015 guys! I'll see you again next post! To 2016 and beyond!
