Hi guys! Today I managed to cube my secondary weapon to Legendary! This marks my tenth Legendary item that I currently own.
But wait - why did I cube my secondary weapon to Legendary this late? Cuz y'know, it is commonly advised to get your weapons and/or shoes/gloves to Legendary first, due to the gamechanging Potential lines that are exclusive to these equipment. The main reason why I held off with cubing my secondary weapon is because I didn't have this Princess No's Medal until somewhere late 2017.
I was planning to obtain a Princess No's Medal ever since the Sengoku update came out. However, I never really managed to get my hands on one because virtually nobody in EMS did Princess No runs due to the difficulty on getting the entry keys for this particular raid. Hence why I've been running a normal Virtue's Medal for the past couple of years. I actually missed out on purchasing a Princess No's Medal somewhere in November 2015, when there was one for sale in Free Market, as shown below.
This particular one was floating around for several weeks, and probably because the seller couldn't get this one sold, the price for this Princess No's Medal kept decreasing. Back then, 300m mesos was quite heavy on my budget, so I held off with purchasing this one until it would drop even further. However, that was obviously a stupid decision as I was playing with fire - someone else purchased it before I could when the price was at 200m because of my unnecessary hesitation. Ironically, I did meet the Hero who purchased it last year though, given the Hero community has always been small in EMS.
So of course, by the time the Tune Up update was released in EMS where they started giving away free Princess No raid entry keys, I've done plenty of weekly raids with a few friends. Unfortunately without success, but I did manage to purchase my Princess No's Medal through Auction House. Fun fact: I've been hinting towards my "journey" to this "Ribgol of all secondary weapons" several times before on my blog, an example written in this blogpost here.
Let's not forget that by the time I got this item in late 2017, I was still working on getting my pendants to Legendary in preparation for the next Murgoth event. So of course because I managed to obtain my two 20% Item Drop Rate lines, the next item in line would've been this secondary weapon.
I'll probably do another side tracking again for cubing my Princess No's Medal until it outperforms my current Virtue's Medal, because I could really make use of some additional % Boss Damage to soften the Lacheln's Dream Breaker difficulty... When that's settled, I'm planning to cube my Emblem to Legendary. "But w-w-wait Ray, didn't you already have a Legendary Emblem already?" Well... while that is true, I'm going to explain that situation in the "Eleventh Legendary Potential GET!" blogpost when that time is here.
Totally out of context: yes, they have fixed my 125/128 bank issue with yesterday's maintenance. Whoo
